Huge well done to Matthew Collier, Ethan Bromwell and Keanan Frayne, who smashed the South Wales Three Peaks trail in some truly atrocious weather conditions over the weekend for Walking Home For Christmas. With some stunning views and the knowledge that their money is going to good use supporting veterans who served, they braved the elements and completed their challenge safely! From London to Dumfries, the care staff Walking Home For Christmas

Workers from the UK’s largest online care platform Curam put their best feet forward on December 11, raising vital funds for veterans’ charity Walking With The Wounded as part of its Walking Home For Christmas campaign.

The national sponsored event, which is now in its 10th year, involved teams from the care company’s London and Dumfries offices, who collectively clocked up a total of 50 miles as one of 154 teams taking part.

Staff in east London carried out individual walks, including Curam co-founder Patrick Wallace, who walked from the company’s office in Ashwin Street, Dalston, to Hammersmith. And the Scottish team, headed by Curam director Ben Weatherall, clocked up 12 miles with their countryside walk in Irongray, Dumfries.

Veteran walking 250 miles from the Shetland Islands to Aberdeenshire

Lee Jordan from Banchory, Aberdeenshire will be walking from the Shetland Islands home to Banchory in December to raise funds for those who served.

Commenting on the Walking Home For Christmas challenge, Lee said, “Last year I took on a Walking Home For Christmas, walking from the most Easterly Bothy in the UK. This year I have decided that I owe it to my fellow veterans to try and raise the bar and raise as much money as possible for those in need by ‘Walking Home For Christmas’ from the most Northerly Point in the UK.
