About Walking With The Wounded
Walking With The Wounded supports those who have served to transition back to civilian life
We support those who have served in the military with mental health, employment and wraparound care coordination programmes. Through specialised and interconnected services, we help those who have fallen the furthest get back on track and moving forward once more.
We stand side-by-side to help our beneficiaries on their path back to civilian life, dealing with any physical, mental, social or financial challenges along the way. Our specialised caseworkers deliver face-to-face support tailored to each person’s unique needs, backgrounds and challenges.
We are incredibly proud to be supporting those who have served.
Your Impact
By taking on a walk this December, you're not just fundraising - you're joining a community that is making a real difference for veterans, giving them hope for a future they previously couldn't see.
"When you leave the army and you’re on your own, when the reality sets in, the family life broke down and realising I was going down, there was a point I was just about to give up. Meeting someone like Clare from Walking With The Wounded was really top for me."
How your money helps
You will directly support Walking With The Wounded's work to support those who have served in the Armed Forces and their families, empowering them to regain their independence and sense of purpose.
Our approach and services continually evolve to meet the real needs of those who have served. We’re known for our trusted programmes, and we have the data to show their value and impact.
Our people make WWTW what it is today. But we don't work alone. We collaborate closely with partners, other charities and community organisations to deliver the best outcomes for those we help.
