About Walking With The Wounded
Walking With The Wounded recognises that those who served, deserve
Whether mentally, physically or socially wounded we support the most in need. They are the ex-service personnel who have fallen furthest from where they want to be and need a personalised programme to help them get back on their feet.
Working in collaboration with our clients and partners, we shape bespoke employment, mental health and care coordination programmes that give ex-service personnel, and their families, the emotional and practical support they deserve.
It can be a long journey so, respecting our clients, we walk with the wounded, not for the wounded. And together we get there in the end.
Your Impact
They have walked in far more dangerous places for us so it is time for us to put in some serious distance for them.
"After my second tour in Afghanistan my mental health started to suffer - my sleep was disturbed, and I began to feel anxious and withdrawn. I was referred to WWTW and spoke to my Employment Advisor, Jon. He helped me to chart a new course in life. My new job has helped improve my wellbeing - and as a result my home life."

How Your Money Helps
You will directly support Walking With The Wounded's work with our principal partner, the NHS, and the 200 other organisations we collaborate with to support those who have served in the Armed Forces and their families, empowering them to regain their independence, thrive and contribute in our communities.
We work within NHS mental health teams and homeless hostels to help those who have fallen the furthest with our mental health, employment and care coordination programmes. We can't do it without you.
Our mental health programme has been independently reviewed twice, showing that our therapy has a lasting impact.
