Help Tommy Watson reach their fundraising target
Every pound counts. For example just £5 can be used to purchase a walking pole for a wounded veteran, giving them the tools to recover outdoors. Dont forget to press that Gift Aid button too, making that pound go even further.

Why do I do this each year
1. A Deep Respect for Service
• As Director for Veteran Affairs, I see firsthand the challenges veterans face. Supporting WWTW is a way to honour their sacrifices and help bridge the gap between service and civilian life.
2. Making a Tangible Impact
• I know that every campaign, every mile walked, and every pound raised contributes to real change — whether it’s mental health support, employment , or Social stability.
3. Leading by Example
• I hope that my annual participation sets a powerful example for colleagues, partners, and the wider community. I hope it shows leadership not just in title, but in action.
4. Personal Connection
• Through my your role and very personal experiences, I feel a strong emotional connection to the Armed Forces community — and this campaign gives me a meaningful way to give back.
5. Community & Camaraderie
• The campaign isn’t just about walking — it’s about walking together. It builds bonds, raises awareness, and creates a shared sense of purpose during the festive season.
6. Tradition & Legacy
• Having done it each year, it’s become a tradition — one that reflects my values and my dedication to making a difference.
